Nectar Marketing Collateral
Nectar, headed by chef Peggy Chan, is an upscale restaurant that invites guests to experience progressive plant-based cuisine. While simultaneously working in the pastry kitchen, I conceptualized and designed marketing collateral to support the restaurant’s growth and operations.

Grassroots Initiatives Overview

Sustainability Infographic Handouts
Environmental sustainability is a core ethos in Nectar’s operations. I was asked to create sustainability infographics handouts for catering clients.
I came up with three topics of research: food waste, biodiversity and a planetary health diet. When possible, I directed my research to be Asia or Hong Kong specific. After compiling my research, I designed the layout of the handouts while staying true to Grassroots Initiatives’ brand.



Tasting Menu Dish Illustrations
Nectar’s seasonal tasting menus highlight the freshness and quality of locally and regionally-sourced organic products, while incorporating functional nutrition and environmental sustainability.
To help simplify and showcase the unique highlights of each dish, I transformed them into illustrations—speaking to the chefs to ensure important details are shown. The illustrations were incorporated into information charts, which were sent to media, used for staff training and given guests who craved the details. Below are a selection of the illustrations I drew using Adobe Illustrator.
The Nectar Cake List
I established and designed a menu layout using InDesign to showcase Nectar’s cake offerings. Working with the Head Pastry Chef, I ensured all the important details of her beautiful creations were shown correctly. The menu is a scalable template, as cake flavours change with seasonal availability.
